STEWARDSHIP

Stewardship is a foundational pillar of The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ "Today". The Lord Jesus honors those who faithfully do his word. We believe that 10% of our increase belongs to God and is represented by the Tithes. We further believe that the Windows of Heaven are fully open for us, but what comes out and through those windows is enhanced and fortified by the offering we make to the Lord, over and above the tithes. Stewardship is a non-negotiable condition of leadership here at COTLJCT. The people must see the character, obedience and faithfulness of the leadership as an example for their lives.

COTLJCT stewardship consists of Tithes, Offering, Building fund, Missionary, TV and Radio, and Special Offerings that the Spirit of the Lord leads.

Tithes are received every Sunday.
Offerings are received every Sunday and every time the body/congregation meets.
Building fund or the Stewardship campaign is the program of stewardship to build and maintain the house of the Lord.

Giving Number Every member is assigned a tithe or giving number for administrative tracking. This number should be used for any giving where an envelope is used. To be assigned a givers number, See the senior administrator at 770-942-2886

Again we welcome the opportunity to share the blessing of Stewardship at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ "Today".

We also offer the option of mailing your tithes/offering to the church should you plan to be absent due to illness or vacation. The tithe envelopes already self address to the church and can be mailed from any postbox with the addition of a stamp.
